Dust

Dust

Celestial apparitions

Welcome the night sky

Altering the gaze

Of a forgotten eye

*****

Transparent connections

Not to be lost

Consciously directed

Matter not the cost

*****

Is beauty wasted

If left unseen

Are the orbs really blind

If they know where they’ve been

*****

Eyes seeing or not

It’s a matter of trust

Appreciate the wonder

Of the infinite dust

Caroline, Thank you! It’s fun to put a couple of words together that sound nice. I’m glad you liked those two. 🙂

Brilliant, yet again, Joanne. “infinite dust” a beautiful and sparkling turn of phrase. Love it, love this, love you.

  4. Caroline says:

I’m going to need a thesaurus pretty soon to describe how wonderful your work is. Lovely! Infinite Dust – beautiful.

  5. joannefirth says:

Wow! Randy, you are so nice. This poem is special because after I wrote it, I had to pause for a while. Very powerful for me to write about something that is beyond understanding. Thanks again for your visit and kind words.

To think that all of the universe is built up from dust – and 99.99999… we have never seen. That’s a lot of unseen beauty, but with this poem; we get to see just a little bit more beauty than we would have otherwise. Good job! 🙂
