Homeward Bound

Posted: March 10, 2010 in Uncategorized

This little poem is about not giving up. Everyone has their own philosophy about it  and it’s been written a million different ways. We all have moments of self-doubt about who we are or the direction we are headed in. The key for me is to just keep going. No matter what. Period.

Homeward Bound

Homeward bound but the radar is off

No beacon in the sky

The sun is unreliable

Just burning in my eye

What lyes ahead this unsteady ground

I may never know

Yet I forge my way through dark and deep

As far as I can go

A gentle breeze, tickling and near

Faint echos far away

A light, yet distant, flickering

Perhaps another day
