Reach. A Photograph.

I’ve been enjoying watching these six sunflower plants sprout and grow. Their sturdy stems seem to defy gravity as they get taller and taller each day. Reaching for the sun. Enjoy.

I love sunflowers! They are tall and strong and also, don’t forget…yellow is my
    favorite color!

I love sunflowers. They are so magnificent. Their bloom is amazing. And then… they die, but they give us those amazing seeds and there’s something so sadly graceful in the way they look when they begin to die. Maybe I’m just weird… okay, yes, I’m sure I’m weird. 🙂

    • Like everything, they die. The seeds left behind are their legacy, spreading the beauty 100 fold all the way to infinity. Our words do the same thing when you think of it. Living, writing, trying to make sure we perpetuate who we are and why we are here. Wow, I didn’t think sunflowers could get so deep. 😉

my goodness! how tall are they? i’ve never seen sunflowers growing ~ i had no idea they get so tall. sending you bunches of love, bunny ♥ *sunshiny flowery hugs*

    • They are almost 4 feet tall now. They would be a lot bigger if I had transplanted them, but I love having them on my outside coffee table to watch every day. They can get 10 feet tall or taller if you plant them in the ground. Amazing plants. 🙂
